This is a 1942 dated, Finn matching “B” Barreled M-39 with a gorgeous, plum colored barrel. It is as close to a 100%, unfired Finnish rifle as you will find. Research shows that the “B” barreled rifles where built post war using barrels ordered and produced at Liege in Belgium. The barrel is dated 1942 and has marked with a “B” “D” , SA stamp and the 3600 proof and is dated 1942. This rifle is built on a 1903 dated Izhevsk hex receiver and has a postwar stock. This rifle has a “HV” magazine.
You will be hard pressed to upgrade this rifle. It has a mirror bore and the magazine follower looks unused.
