Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1*, 1950, .303, C & R, Long Branch, Canadian, Rare Enfield Variant
This is a Canadian Long Branch made No4 MK1* bolt action rifle chambered in .303 British. The Canadians restarted production of the No. 4 Mk. 1* rifle. They made only 50,000 in 1950 making this one of the rarest Enfield's produced.
Rifle is virtually new about 98%+ of its original finish with some minor handling marks on the stock. Rifle is equipped with the standard post front sight with protective ears and a folding rear sight. The serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, and magazine numbers match. This rifle is dated 1950. Included with the rifle is a Canadian stamped sling. Canadian Long Branch Enfield's don’t get much better than this one.
No bore picture couldn't get a good one to come out. I ran a tight patch on a brush and there was no drag or rough spots felt.
I will tell the purchaser to go thru all the older rifles BPBReloading is offering and give them a good cleaning prior to using.
