Comments on HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS from the Science Channel

Watching the science channel today HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS . Written by a friend.

Something strikes you as you watch. Our planet's and solar systems history is

pretty well known. History predicts the future. How our seasons and

weather evolved is known and that leads me to believe where we are

headed. Our earth used to spin much faster days were much shorter and

the Coriolis effect caused a very stormy planet compared to today with

massive storms. The Sahara was once a lush green place with river

valleys. Then the Earth slowly slowed down its daily rotation to what we

have today about 24 hours. We are sure that has happened. The moon slowed

our planets rotational speed. Stabilized the Earth's wobble giving us

four seasons of equal length.

I have read several articles this year that our days have become longer

due to a decrease in rotational speed. Our planet's wobble is

increasing  causing seasonal changes and the sun's rays striking the

arctic ice shield more direct thawing the ice cap and glaciers more than

in the past. We are being told it is because of humans using fossil

fuels. That our governments are going to legislate a reversal of global

climate change or at the least stop it from increasing any further.

That is not going to happen because of human intervention. The Earth is part

of  solar system, we revolve around the sun. Our solar system part of a

galaxy.  Our solar system rotates around the center of the Milky Way

Galaxy. Our solar system revolves around the center at 360 million miles

per second. It takes 1.5 million years to make one rotation like our

rotation around the sun.

There are forces at work here way beyond the

powers of humans. The Earth's future is predictable. The Earth is coming

out of a ice age 20,000 tears ago. Hasn't peaked yet. Our Earth's

rotation is slowing and the wobble increasing all saying that the

temperature of the Earth is increasing and will continue to increase for

sometime. Humans are not causing global warming. May be contributing to

it but not causing it.

The Earth is one amazing place, but not the only planet in our galaxy

that could possibly sustain life as we know it. Our future is written in

the stars.

Andromeda Galaxy is coming at our galaxy, the Milky Way, at 500,000

miles per second. When these two galaxy's collide there will be no life

on Earth and probably no Earth Good news that is 250,000 years from now.

(best guess). Global climate change will have killed us long before that.
