This is a Gewehr 98 Mauser produced in 1916 by V. Chris
Schilling of Suhl, Germany.
The Gew 98 is chambered in 8mm Mauser and takes a 5 round
stripper clip. The rifle is pretty good
condition for a 106 year old rifle. The bolt does not match. It comes with a
reproduction sling and cleaning rod. The rifle is complete except for the
locking screw on the magazine. Here is your chance to own Gew 98 made by a
fairly rare manufacturer. It is a piece of Great War History.
