Finnish M-91, Sestroryestk Arsenal, 1917 Dated, Finnish Mosin Nagant, SA stamped, Finland, Hex, Russia, Soviet

This rifle is a Finn captured Soviet M-91 from the Sestroryestk Arsenal in Leningrad. It has a Finn spliced stock with Finnish sling swivels. It comes with a Finnish leather sling.

The rifle is barrel is dated 1917 and is “SA” and “D” stamped. It has a 1920 dated, hex Izhevsk receiver. This rifle does not match. The receiver has a Soviet Hammer and sickle stamp in place of the Czarist double headed eagle stamp.
