As I was told:

This flintlock started out as a target rifle 45 cal. Made by Zane Kent of Marietta, GA NMLRA RECORD HOLDER

The new owner had it re-bored to 54 cal. by Bobby Hoyt

Rear adjustable sight by Bo-Mar

Front steel blade

35" barrel bore is near perfect (Just re-bored & fired a few times)

LOP 13.5"

OAL 51"+-

Drop 3" +-

The ram rod IS NOT full length it is short and in place "for looks" as the builder used a range rod.

 

Wood is a really nice piece of walnut, looks like walnut.

Flint sparks well

Double set trigger group

Has a few handling marks, brass is dark as to be expected.

Slightly used ,

  I took this in back April & traded it for 2 rifles. New owner never fired it. 

Now it's back again. $1250.00 plus shipping.

As per manufacture:

 An exact copy of the famous French flintlock musket modified and employed during the 9th year of the French Revolutions. 

Different from the 1777 Charleville (our FR0930) in that the "Corrige An IX" has 3 barrel bands held in place with retaining springs instead of screws. Frizzen is a slightly different shape and lock plate is marked differently. This is a .69 caliber full stock. The barrel is armory bright and tapered round. Features a steel furniture left bright, lock plate marked. 

Manufactured by Pedersoli/Italy.      Overall condition is Nice!!

NOTE:

The take down magazine tube does not want to unscrew. I will not force it! It is no doubt set up for decades of sitting in a box. If you look at the magazine tube you can see it has not been taken down many times as their in almost no wear on the area at the mag tube ring.

I slipped the stock on for pictures, I  did not screw it down.  Over the entire rifle is in good condition for its age.  As I state in my opener terms –it will need a good teardown and cleaning.
