I had a letter show up today from Commissioner Grannis stating the DEC has withdrawn support from 8 additional WMU's. This was based on numerious comments from both sides of the fence. Science won in this round as the DEC feels "AR poses no signifiant management benefit & AR does not improve heard condition".
Many in opposition were meat hunter and their was a growing threat that a person shooting a non-legal buck would face criminal charges.
