 Dbl Slot Collectors Note:

Finnish M-28, Finn Mosin Nagant, Rare Double Sling Slot, SIG, Matching, SY, Civil Guard, 7.62 x 54R, Antique Receiver

This is a Finnish M-28 with a rare, one piece, double sling slot calvary, ski/bicycle stock. Only 6000 M-28’s with the double sling slot stock were made. Many fewer survived the Winter and Continuation Wars.

This rifle has and antique receiver. Pre  1898

The rifle has a Civil Guard “S” number and serial number stamped on the barrel. The rifle is double Finn matching with numbers on the bold knob and flat.

The rifle is an early Marathon import. It has a Swiss SIG barrel dated from 1927. It is SY and “D” stamped and it is not SA stamped.

The rifle has an updated trigger and comes with a 2 piece, roller buckle sling. It has a Type 1, two piece M-28 nose cap and cleaning rod.

Sellers Note:

Bore is in fair condition.  I suggest giving all these rifles a good cleaning and inspection before use even if you just plan on using it as a wall hangar.
