Overall condition is Nice- including the bore-

This is a Finnish Civil Guard Model 28/30 made in 1936 by SAKO. Approximately 40,000 28/30 rifles were made for the Finnish Civil Guard.

This rifle was built on a Tula hex receiver. The barrel number and the number stamped on the bolt knob are Finn matching. There is a beautiful SAKO stamp on the right side of the rear sight base. The cleaning rod head is of the M-39 type.

The extractor was made by SAKO. The barrel is “D” stamped and SA stamped and has the 3600 SAKO proof mark on the left side

The Civil Guard number stamped on the right side of the barrel indicates that this rifle was issued to the Pohjois-Karala Civil Guard District.
