Owner said it was a tack driver.
Stock appears to be walnut I'm not a wood expert so that's my best guess.

This is a personal rifle of mine that has won many matches and lots of meat prizes.

I've not shot this rifle in a good 2 years and it needs to move on to a new home.

The stock developed a thin crack after purchase some 20 years back. I glass bedded the breech area -drilled filled crack and holes with bedding material. Then wrapped tight left cure for a few days.

NOTE: I've owned 2 Tryon's and both cracks appeared in the same spot. IMPO the stock like so many is to thin)

This rifle shoots fantastic if you do your part.-

70-80gr 3f Goex or 70 gr of T7 18ths patch 530 rb. 15ths patch works well with 535 RB. Patched is lightly lubed with water soluble CNC cooling fluid. Mixed 20% fluid 80% distilled or bottled water.

Bore is nice condition-triggers work--lock holds On the top flat behind the front sight I've scored lines with a checkering tool to reduce glare. Original tang included with a few spare parts-I need to find the front sight ,however if it is not found the price remains the same-

The tang and rear sight are a 200$ plus upgrade-Lyman front is 70$

Wood and metal have a few handling marks you'd never know this rifle is near 20 years old!
